Now, the app said "You have $5 credit which will expire in 7 days". So I went ahead and bought another $20 GC for $13 (min purchase amount $20 required to apply $5 credit), using the credit and $2 credit on my account.
This triggered another "You have $5 credit which will expire in 7 days". Bought $20 GCs at $15, using the <$1 CB from the previous purchase. Rinse and repeat, like a Slickdealer would.
All told, I got $110 worth GCs to various retailers/restaurants for $76.50 (30% discount), all the while paying with PayPal (5% CB on Chase Freedom & Flex).

So if the store is already offering a deal on their gift card, no way to double-dip as you won't complete transaction at the store, but rather slide. good deal with the $10 off though.
