Dollar General had a $10 off $50 Starbucks cards offer on Black Friday. They do it every now and then in case you're going to make large gift card purchases again.
Contact Starbucks through their online chat and let them know. I just did so a few minutes ago and they gave me the $5 bonus even though the promotion "sold out" yesterday. I sent them a screenshot of the app which still shows the promotion. And I bought the $20 card today, so you should be fine. It only took about 5-10 minutes while waiting for a response.
What did you ask? The guy I'm talking to doesn't seem to want to give me the bonus card.

I was able to get a "one time exception" given to me. Funny that at the end of the conversation there is a survey which then takes you immediately to a screen with the Black Friday offer that isn't even available.
I know it isn't going to arrive unless Starbucks decides to simply honor the deal for all of the folks who are still buying these while they still actively advertise it.
Whether I'll bother with chat again tomorrow, who knows. But I think today Dunkin' coffee sounds more tasty than Starbucks. Maybe tomorrow too.
