If you get the $199 deal, you can return the item making 2 4ah and 1 2ah high P batteries for $99.
The real truth about the difference is not the batteries. Both are usually identical.
The difference is the HP batteries have another contact that when used with an HP tool, it will trigger the extra performance. Still really not that much of a difference.
I've been sticking to the normal 2x4ah batteries for <$50. If you find a higher price item for the $99 special, you can even get the the batteries for $40.
EDIT: never mind, this is the first year, HD decided to downgrade the batteries to 1 4ah and 1 2ah.
