- Added PayPal as a payment method Google Play Store
- Made an in app purchase of $6.99 using PayPal as checkout method
I made a purchase on Google Play on Monday, 11/29 at 3:27 PM.
If they advertise it they have to honor it 🙂
But it is a an absolute pain in the ass to get the customer service reps to honor things like this. No one over chat is ever aware of these promos, then you have to convince them for the next 15 minutes that you preformed all the steps correctly, even if you provide appropriate screenshots.
Although I had paypal linked previous for whatever reason, it showed no prior google store purchase using paypal(All apps were direct from my card).
This one came back "do you mean this transaction at a brick and mortar store on the day you said?"
No I do not. I mean the only other transaction that day that I sent the details for along with the link to the Google promotion because it was a Google purchase.
Jesus. I'm past the point of letting this one go.
