Beat me to the post. The deal is back up for ~15 hours. I was sad to see it back at $550 last night, and then this morning I snagged it with my work account for $340!
Based on the reviews, this vs the Oculus seems like a no brainer if you don't want to have access tied to FB and want better visuals.

I ordered my G2 on the original $399 BF doorbuster deal but it's been stuck on Processing status for 2 days now. Do I need to 1st cancel, then sign up with perks at work or should I just call HP to try to use the company code on my original order? I guess it's dicey as I'll lose my place in line. Otherwise regardless of getting that even lower discount or not I feel they might cancel my order by doing nothing if it's actually stuck on processing. I tried getting a (preset built) gaming computer last June and HP all of a sudden canceled my order after a few days of Processing without giving me any reason why.

I am not understanding this whole post. Why do I then need to call the sales center? Are you saying to add it to your cart first? Or to buy it first and then call? Or do nothing after entering the HP site, to just call them with the company code and your sign in information and have them put through the order over the phone?
None of this makes sense. If I order over the phone, I then loose the PerksAtwork points for the purchase. Can you explain further what you are talking about?
Edit: Oh, I see you just copied info from PerksAtWork site.
Problem is this is not working for additional discount, maybe it did earlier, or is dependent on your company. I thought you were providing a work around to get it to work for further discount.

Can anyone else get the student discount working? ID.me doesn't show the student part for this, and HP doesn't seem to verify even though I'm logged on both ID.me and HP with student emails

Deal is still active. Best to use incognito/inprivate mode, create a perks at work account, search for hp, click the link then register for a brand new account using a different email address if you already have an HP account. I used the gmail trick and added a period in my email so I could create a new account. After that, find the HP Reverb G2 or use the link in the original post and add to cart. Then you should see the discount and final pricing.
Note that you also get 10X wow points for Cyber Monday and can sign up for HP's newsletter for an additional $20 off. Note the newsletter promo code took a day or two to come through so you might not get that one in time.

Two days is not a long time. Mine is still processing but I expect they will ship Monday here.

Thanks, I had tried the new HP account from a different browser, Edge instead of Chrome. May try it again.
You are not saying you created a new PerksAtWork account as well, are you?
Edit: Tried again this morning and got it to work! Thanks!
Yesterday it seemed to be having a problem trying to set up a new account at HP. It would go from login and then just loop back to login again with the new account. So I tried logging in from the different browser, where it worked. But I think that login didn't end up being tied to work account.
Tried again this morning from incognito browser and it worked to create the login, showed the company tied to the account etc. Thanks again!
