don't touch anything related to banking / finances, crypto and anything sensitive requiring a password and you will be good to go.
They will be MiTM / mining traffic data, along with your personal information... Ad injections seem also very likely, as they strive to cover bandwidth costs.
You have to be a very special kind of fool to trust some random password manager ("PassHulk"

Can anyone tell me the name that appears on your credit card statement?
I want to verify if the refund is processed and am unable to find the transaction.
I also noticed today that the VPN quality has taken a nosedive, where the connection takes a while to establish and the performance is worse than before.
This feels like bait and switch given the "lifetime" deal and subsequent service degradation.

You may want to do a CS chat to see what is going on. I've found them to be very responsive when needed and with minimal effort.
they had a weekend long outage 3 weeks ago...
you could login and outlet clamp
but none of their outlets would route your traffic.
(there is no server status page on their websight)
i'm on a forum with other f-vpn subs - we all were
suffering the same problems at the same time.
after qq'ing and writing tech support with no reply
they finally fixed things - i have noticed 2 things;
- outlets don't drop as often, and do route traffic better
- it's now easier to stop their service and restart it again.
sadly, their client still lacks any app kill provision
all it can do is drop all traffic when the vpn dies.
conclusion; with F-vpn, you get what you paid for.
pro tip; if an outlet won't route torrent traffic
try another. sadly f-vpn is too lazy to label
their outlets as p2p allowed or not, so you
have to hit or miss till you find them.
surprisingly, none of their CA outlets p2p
so you have to connect to europe for it.
- always enable the client to disconnect all ISP when the VPN drops
- never use any of your ISP's DNS servers on your client or router.
- if possible, manage your non ISP choice of DNS within the router.
I noticed my primary DNS got changed somehow, not sure what did it
(i use paid malwarebytes and all sorts of protect and privacy extensions)
so i added a service that locks the DNS to what you specify on your client
so no other app or client can later modify it.
the one i use on my win10 pc calls itself DNS-Lock v1.4 as a process
which manages Dnscache as a service. i lock my client DNS to router
192.168.1.1 and manage my DNS choices within the router itself.

I've been using Eddie VPN client, configured for FastestVPN. Seems robust, and does what's expected. Search on this thread, I have posted the Eddie VPN instructions before.
