I bought it 2 years ago and regret it. I keep it around for a backup.

I got one of the previous $13 deals and set it up on my router (fresh tomato open firmware)
Using the provided settings I got a lot of disconnects, so I had to change what they sugest putting in the custom configuration section of the settings.

If you want to avoid disconnects with this VPN on a router, use these settings in your custom configuration:

auth-nocache
nobind
persist-tun
persist-key
remote-random
remote-cert-tls server
route-metric 1
auth sha512
keysize 256

#mssfix 1430

reneg-sec 14400
resolv-retry infinite
keepalive 30 120

tun-mtu 1500

All the rest of their settings are fine.
It's not super fast, and they only have 3 or 4 torrent supporting servers. But it works.
Lifetime for $13 is ok in my book.

I have this. Devices includes different browsers on same computer. And sometimes it will even register the same browser more than once. You can only remove 1 device a week. So annoying

This is only an issue if you're a criminal. For most people who just want basic privacy from public routers and ISPs, this VPN is enough.
Depending on who's making the laws all of the topics that are being discussed in this thread (bypassing geo locks, torrents, etc) or any future subject could be deemed criminal.

Reviews keep bringing up its shoddy and confusing privacy policy. Pass.

Can I torrent via this Vpn?
Yes, but you'll want to limit your download speed under 5 megabit or they'll throttle you eventually. Will work 24/7 if you keep download speed lows.

Works great for me for two years. I just use it sparingly when using my laptop in public wifi, not doing anything shady. Connection speed is fine, but I use their servers in the US.

The only annoying thing is that, when minimized, you cannot remove the app from the main taskbar if the program is running. I hate having things in my taskbar. If i don't need it as an open window, I prefer it's minimized to the corner with the other background apps. This does not do that.

There is no way to whitelist apps via the windows desktop app, so when some programs (gog galaxy for me) freaked out I had to turn off the VPN to use it.
I live in tx and the Dallas VPN trucks my speed from 130 down to double digits. So I can only use Houston. But sometimes that has stability issues so I have to switch further away for a bigger speed loss.
Other than that no other complaints. It works on my Android and windows PC. I don't do anything complicated with settings or usage.

I've had this for a few months to replace my last "lifetime" VPN lol. Mostly used for torrenting and it works fine. I don't want to use all our bandwidth so I cap it around 3 MB in my torrent client.

I think you have to turn off ipv6. Maybe that's common knowledge but it seemed to be identifying my real location, etc. via ipv6 until I disabled it in Windows.

How much is the Argentina YouTube premium converted to USD ?
Comes out to about $2 a month for the family plan for Argentina and I think $2.5 for India. You get YouTube Music too. Not as good as Spotify but enough for me so I end up canceling my Spotify too.

Google how to do it first beforehand and follow the instructions. You need to add all your family members before you register for YT premium.

And for people that said you can just use uorigin, vanced, etc. I would say yes that is true but I watch YT on my TV and IPad and there are no program for those devices. YT premium works on all devices and all accounts in my family plan, it's the simplicity of it all.

Vanced works on my tv flawlessly. Haven't had a YT ad for years and vanced plays music with my screen off on my android.

KeepSolid is a good vpn and reliable. I've had it for 2+ years now and no problems at all. It's great when I'm using public wifi at coffee shops or the library.

It works but it constantly has issues. I use it on Windows. I'm constantly having to force it to shut down and many times it won't reconnect when changing servers. I have to restart the PC's sometimes to get back online etc. I've never been happy with it. I got the FastestVPN deal last night to try out and it seems to work better.

It is confusing to find a vpn that is safe. All these comments from different post about malware, security risk, etc. People make comments about people driving internet traffic to their sites too. So what vpn can you trust?

Same. Super unreliable, speeds go to shit for no reason.

Got the lifetime sub for free during one of the promotion a few years ago. It was okay for free since I only use it for torrent. They got rid of the US based torrent server so the only one left was in Canada. I think it got disconnected once when I was torrenting and I got a notice from my ISP.
