i was expecting this would go lower. although im sure gigabyte doesn't want it eating into m27q sales if they go too low with it. i got it for like $330 a few months ago. i love it. very well reviewed monitor. i thought there was a possibility of 32" being a little large for 1440p, having already used 27" and ultrawide 34", but happy with the size and pixel density.
Is this the best deal this BF? So many monitors I'm lost on which is the best per dollar/performance
Depends on what you're looking for. 4k resolution? 32"? IPS? Curve/non-curve? Good Rtings review?
There's a variety of monitors that check a variety of different checkboxes, but very few can check all checkboxes simultaneously, while staying below <$400.

Frame rate first. This will probably be a second monitor as I have a BenQ 32 something for graphic design. It just sucks how expensive some of these monitors are and nothing has been like the "perfect" one for me aka something I can use professionally and also for gaming

Yes, most reviewers land this monitor as the best budget gaming 1440p monitor right now, especially at this price. It has a high-quality IPS panel, so it has very good color accuracy, the best at the price. It also gets really bright, and has a high refresh rate. It's a good gaming monitor that can also be used for more critical or editing work. The built-in KVM is just extra on top. If you can afford it, it's worth it. If you can't, the LG high refresh rate VA monitor for $250 at Costco and Walmart is a good choice at the price.

What other checkboxes are you trying to check? If it's just framerate then there are plenty of 27" 1440p IPS 165-170 Hz monitors around $300-350. There's also Gigabyte M27Q for $280 which checks most boxes, but is BGR. If you wanna drop the price then you can drop the resolution to 1080p. Plenty of 1080p 144+ Hz for like $200, maybe even less.
240 Hz is better but usually that bumps the price up to $700+ (e.g. Asus XG27AQM, Dell AW2721D, Acer XB273U, etc.). Or if you don't care about panel type (e.g. IPS) then Samsung has some VA panels with 240 Hz.
edit: there's no such thing as "perfect" monitor unless you're willing to pay like $1000.
