I have been using this for 6 months now and I have charged 4 times already, if you use the features like auto lock, it lasts like a a couple of weeks. So I disabled that and other advance features and now it lasts a month and change. That alone is not good enough reason to buy. The quality doesn't feel good while installing, I had a schlage before and it was great, battery laster like a year and it used 4 AA batteries. This one has its own battery that need that old mini USB cable to charge.
If the lock is exposed to rain then it keeps thinking someone is trying to unlock and it keeps saying wrong code and finishes battery in few hours.
I really wanted this to be good as I also have eufy cameras but it is not

Completely different model. That model requires bridge. This one does not

Is this cheaper in store?
Does this have the auto unlock feature like the august locks do when it senses you are getting close to your door?

It does not have Auto Unlock, but does have auto lock. It's not available in-store. Online only.

My current august lock uses bluetooth or wifi combined with gps to see if you are getting closer to your door. When its 100ft it unlocks the door. So I just have to turn the doorknob to get in.

Doesn't the amazon one come with a wifi bridge vs this one has wifi built-in?

What a timing. After extensive research on august locks and reading SO Many bad comments on August, I took the plunge on this eufy lock from Costco. Can't beat Costco's policies if this thing doesn't work out. I am hopeful it will work. The only thing I was against a keypad but then again I forgot we all have garage doors with keypads 😊 I care more on auto lock rather than unlock. Perhaps autounlock is a security risk. Fingerprint or app should be good enough. Also to all those who think AES 128 bit is enough for encrypting … to be fully safe you at least need 256 but encryption. I would encourage all the manufacturers to upgrade their chipsets

I cannot find the model number at Costco. Amazon has one that looks the same for 129.99. Anyone know if it is the same by chance? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0869MG...UTF8&psc=1

Lot of complains with battery not lasting very long on Amazon. Anyone here have it? How's battery?
