I'm waiting for this Porsche owner who is a master detailer for 30+ years to chime in anytime now and tell everyone that this stuff is garbage......

While this is a fantastic price for the lot, I really would suggest looking at the more modern SiO2 coatings over the old school wax.

Wax looks great, but it lasts weeks and it turns matte black plastic white making the car look terrible. Si02 coating is way easier to use, it doesn't harm the plastic or windows, and it last several months rather than weeks. It's a big enough difference that I would choose a single bottle of Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray for $13 over this kit. Or, just buy this kit and some Si02 spray.

The ScratchX and PlastX are cutting compounds that you shouldn't use unless you have actual scratches (not just swirl marks).

So I just bought Meguiar's claybar kit at Walmart and it was around $21 for two bars, a microfiber, and the Quik detailer (which is used as clay lube). So you'd have to evaluate if the other components are $20 worth. Which honestly to me are not.

With that said, this was the first time I ever claybar'd a car and it was one of the better things I used my weekend on. My car is back to a super glossy sheen and feel.

But that aside, not really sure it's a great buy for the rest.

And cutting compounds really only work if you know what youre doing with a DA polisher

as others have said, great kit for someone starting out, piecing together some of this would cost you just as much if not more.

This is light years ahead of the regularly posted Armor All garbage that's posted, so buy this instead.

This is a decent kit for starter, if they were ultimate line then that would be a great deal to jump on.

Wash any way you want - drive thru car wash if not too dirty to full hand soap and wash.

Clay bar using qucik detailer to float
Wax using gold class
Buff using random orbiter
About 1-2 hours.

In between, The Glosser wax wipes made in Japan with microfiber cloth buff.
About 10 minutes

Thanks for this info, I want to look into it. Are you saying turtle wax ceramic spray IS sio2? I use the ceramic spray like a wax, not a quick detailed? Thanks in advance.

Yes. The hybrid ceramic spray serves like a wax and not a quick detailer, although turtle wax also offers a quick detailer with SiO2 in it.

Turtle Wax sells a big bottle of spray for $14.97 right now on eBay. They routinely run it at $13 too. You can watch Project Farm test it on YouTube where it beats out the other products he tested.
