don't know it till you try it. expensive? hell yes. Warm and feels great? also yes. Could easily last you ten years, you feel good, look good, and the quality is superior. Normally I would agree with you but if I use something often, I don't mind paying premium. Cost of use = lower than if I were to buy a North face and never wear it.
What? I just heard of this brand and honestly thought I was clicking on a Grey Goose deal (brain fart).
But now I'm thankful that I've been warned. 200 loonies for a toque, eh? Sounds like Canada is trying to go after deep American wallets. Can't let Colombia have all the fun.
If you go down the rabbit hole of actual cold weather gear you'll find the prices aren't bad for the warmth you get. That said, people living in 95% of the country will have no need for such things in actuality
I don't have one and could never justify buying one, but can you recommend a more reasonably priced alternative for extremely cold environments?
Burton, Helly Hansen, Columbia even...

What they mean by gross: they pen up a bunch of geese that kill each other trying to escape, just for their feathers. Then they keep the fur poaching trade in business for those cute hoods.

Try the brand "Save the Duck". Great quality, moderately priced compared to Canada goose, and uses synthetic down so animal friendly
