Yeah, I'm really leaning toward inverter ones, but the cost diff is significant

have an 1850 sqft house with an electric-powered AC/Furnace. 42,000 BTUH. Minimum circuit ampacity - 24. I have surge protectors installed on them when they were replaced.

Just looking for something to power AC/Heat in case of power failure. As a Texan with 2 toddlers, I need a backup plan after last year. A week without power and water was brutal.

No natural gas lines here as it is too rocky. Everything is electric.

Would this be a good fit?
