My wife got one of the last 2 at our Costco when they were $14.97, that was 2 weeks ago. It's kind of funny stores will just flash discount these just to get rid of them, yet flippers will just stash them in their basement and then try to sell them for over MSRP at some later date.

Funny, or normal? Stores have finite space and people are notorious for sleeping on things. Clearance or not, some time down the road someone will have realized they missed the set and need it bad.

Funny that it is the normal? Although considering the nature of what you're getting here I doubt many at all will have any hangups with missing an advent calendar, sure there are "gotta have them all" collectors, but you'd think those people would already have them.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind flippers as long as they aren't buying up all available stock like what you see with the electronics market (graphics cards, video game system, etc)

Its nuts they marked it down so quickly. They could have sold them at the end of the year for that price just as easily.

I'd like to see if the Yoda set gets marked down. I've seen at least 2 pallets of them at every store i've visited.
