Belkin seems to have more "cred" on their certs.
I like this 12 outlet with the coax.

I just bought one like two weeks ago. And now I am returning and getting this one.

Other Belkin stuff on sale too. But I don't agree to single posts which posts a whole website with over 100 items and expect 100 Thumbs Ups.
Hey, y'all go look at Walmart's website. Gimme them thumbs up please. Peace

I've had this exact one for three years powering my setup. It's fantastic.

A lot of surge protector companies advertise protection against massive joules, but leave out the clamping voltage of their MOV, which is what determines when the suppressor actually starts... well, suppressing during a surge event. Ideally you want something rated at 300 volts (line to neutral), but a lot of these are 400 or even 500 (lower is better). The Q&A and reviews on this one suggest it's 400-500-500, which I personally would not trust my computer to. Tripp Lite seems to have better numbers, though their units are also not as svelte.

Read reviews. Multiple cases of fire hazard almost burnt house down!!!

Stay away from Belkin surge protectors

I had one from 2009 and another from 2014 with at least 10 devices each with zero problems all these years. Definitely considering getting one more, but I don't need one 😂

This is part of a larger Belkin outlet sale on Amazon, including a more industrial metal 10 outlet version for $25:

i have had various belkin surge protectors in use for years and never had a problem and for sure they have helped over the years with power surges.

people that had them smoke or catch on fire most likely plugged something with very high amperage like a heater or a rogue power adapter.
