I've been looking for a small 2-in-1 for watching shows and doing some light tasks, and the chromebook duet is a good match. This is the 64GB version. Originally $279, dropped to $179 at office depot, free shipping or store pickup

Good price. If you don't need a keyboard, consider the Lenovo Chromebook 10e for $99 (search SD). Nearly identical internals. Same screen. Bigger battery. I ordered the 10e since I have a larger Chromebook for heavy typing tasks.

That was $79 in Lenovo store at eBay. You can pickup the keyboard case for that around $27 from Lenovo using EXTRAFIVE coupon.
If you are looking for a work horse that you need a keyboard for... IMHO, look elsewhere.
This is practically identical to the 10e which you can now get for $99 from Lenovo. The difference is the 10e comes with 32GB of storage and this one has 64GB.
So you get the keyboard and a larger hard drive for $179.00. The extra hard drive space may be worth it. The OS alone takes around 14GB of storage.
I personally purchased the 10e. I don't see myself needing a keyboard but if I did, I would buy a full size Bluetooth keyboard. The extra storage is really nice but I can not justify it spending the extra money for more storage. I purchased my 10e for $79 during black Friday.

Yes you're right, this is not good deal compare to 10e @99 right now. Any more than $50 for attached keyboard and lil extra storage is not worth it. I also got the 10e for $79 although have no need for it, already had 2 chromebooks 14" and 13", but pricing was too good.
Right now walmart has this duet on clearance for $99 in some stores which is great but chances are slim on the hunt.

I agree.
I base spending more on a tablet based on horsepower (CPU/GPU). Also, if I needed a keyboard and mouse I would buy a full size keyboard and a real mouse, not this mini mini keyboard mouse combo.
Personally, I would not be able to justify this deal when the 10e is $99.99 (I also got it for $79).
