How much replay value is in this kit? Is there enough parts to be able to build different designs for kids to stay interested?
Been looking at it for a while but not sure of the value...

The second promo video looks like it would cost a few thousand $ to build lol

I have one of the more advanced sets. I wouldn't use it by myself, but it's great for playing together with my daughter.

Thanks for posting this! Have looked at it a few times because a friend recommended it for my daughter who turns 12 in January. She hasn't specifically asked for it. Do you think she's too old for it?

Thanks op, snagged one. We have the XXL and obstacle sets and kids had loads of fun with these, I believe I'd add more design to their builds if I join but so far haven't done that yet…

Ha, this is why I keep eyeing flea market for these because the fun grows quickly as we collect more sets and special parts. Some folks sell theirs for cheap when they have only played it for once or twice.

My kid is a big fan of marble runs. We bought into this platform last christmas, and subjectively I have to say that it's the most fun to play with (and I mean that as an adult).

The biggest difference between this and other typical marble runs (i.e. the rainbow colored, gravity powered kind), is that this actually has components that both PROPEL and move marbles UP levels, which adds a completely different dimension of creativity.

This also means that if you have enough pieces, you could make considerably longer tracks. I'd say the only downside is that the gradations in levels that make the marbles go are very subtle, which means if you dont have a level surface, it wont work.

Nice find. I was able to find a bigger set i think it was originally $120ish for $35 on clearance at target last year. My kid is finally old enough and I'll put it under the tree this xmas. Tempted to buy this one too 🤔

My 11-yo kids (and myself) really enjoy GraviTrax. We've purchased 4 of the XL sets and some add-ons over the past couple years. It's great for developing problem-solving skills.

It's expensive for what it is but the replay factor is good.

The stock kit has at least 4 preset tracks you can build but really it's just like legos you can build any arrangement you want so the variations are limitless... that said my kid's set is just sitting there in a corner now.
