Buyer pays return shipping charges. Would be almost as much as the unit.

Discontinued model. Looks like it used to be sold at Lowe's. Reviews are less than stellar.

Those Ridgid add on water pumps are $65-$100 and more expensive than this entire Shop-Vac. The water pump on the Shop-Vac is not going to break. I don't know why you would be afraid of that. The water pump on the shop vac can pump 6 gallons a minute of water 50 ft vertically which is five stories high. If you have a 50-foot garden hose you could pump water out of a basement five stories below completely vertically straight up if you lived on a fourth floor of an apartment building at 6 gallons of water per minute and that's an incredible amount of power for a water pump. You can just leave this Shop-Vac on because the outlet pump for the water and the intake are essentially equivalent so you don't have to dump anything on the inside and you don't have to worry about water that's coming in overpowering the water pump or having more capacity than the water pump so you can leave this unattended and you could literally pump out an entire swimming pool this way without having to do anything just leave the thing on for a day or two.

Here are some specs that are on the lows website that aren't on the shop vacs website about the huge vertical capacity of this water pump inside this unit:

Built-in pump can propel water 50-ft vertically at a rate of 6-gal per minute through a standard garden hose (garden hose not included).

You're not going to beat that for $49.95 ship for free. This unit will save your ass if you ever have a flood there's no doubt about it and it doesn't even matter how big the flood is it will take care of it without any type of real labor involved as you can see by the specs I just posted.

So the last thing I would worry about is this thing breaking because it has a 5-year warranty and that doesn't go away just because the units discontinued.

Look at the complete specs again on the Lowe's website and you will be impressed:

The Shop-Vac wet dry vacuum with built in pump is a handy tool to have in the house. Can be used as a wet dry vacuum, or if you have a flooded basement, laundry room or any kitchen spill just vacuum up and pump out the tank. A standard garden hose attached to the pump out feature, and empties the tank so no more heavy lifting to dump the tank.
14-Gal, 11.8-amp wet/dry vacuum with built-in water pump delivers 52-in of sealed pressure and 135-CFM, perfect for cleaning up a flooded basement or broken pipe

Cartridge filter and collection bag capture fine debris and wet messes, keeping your motor safe from harmful particles

12-Ft power cord and 8-ft hose broaden your range, so you can reach farther without needing to move the unit or switch power outlets

2-1/2-in diameter hose attaches to blower port, allowing the unit to be used to scatter grass clippings and leaves from sidewalks and patios

Built-in attachment storage allows quick and easy access to accessories

Built-in pump can propel water 50-ft vertically at a rate of 6-gal per minute through a standard garden hose (garden hose not included)

Integrated tank drain eliminates the need to lift heavy tanks of liquid

Plastic tank is equipped with a handle and casters to make transportation easier

5-year limited warranty protects your investment and gives you peace of mind

Yeah, discontinued model from Shop-Vac. Lowe's reviews when they sold it were not very good: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Shop-Vac.../999998030

lol I literally just opened my $38 12 gallon from years ago and then this deal is posted. It's nice to have a built-in pump.

This is the 2.5" hose which is what you need to fit more larger power tool dust ports as well.

I almost want to get this JUST for the pump feature. I have a 5.5 Gal. Craftsman that works great - nothing wrong with it.

I had a bit of water in my basement - and let me tell you - trying to navigate up a flight of stairs with a sloshing 5.5 Gallons and wet shoes is not fun.

What does the pump do? It pumps the water back out of it? Wouldn't it be full of all kinds of junk and then clog whatever drain you are pumping it into?

This is pretty nice. I bought a 12 gallon steel drum shop vac from Lowes for $40 4 or 5 years ago. So for only $10 more you get a larger hose and a built in water pump. I'd jump on it but don't have a need for a water pump.

What is the pump for? Say you have water leak somewhere, you use the shop vac to suck up all the water, then use the pump to push the collected water out to the drain?

I was in Lowes and it seems like Shop-vac got dumped and now they only carry Black & Decker brands.

I too am curious about the water pump and it's use in not clogging a drain with debris it just sucked up with the water. 🤔

I would try one but not with their return policy. Not returnable unless brand new and unopened and buyer pays return shipping.

Looks like this model was sold several years ago at Lowe's but not any more.

yeah - exactly! like into a slop sink, or maybe even a condensate drain. Maybe up the steps and into the bathroom - if I'm lucky.
