any size as you can always just keep the volume lower especially w/ Klipsch as they have such high SP levels at around 96-97db.. Just make sure the dimensions and color will work in your room and trust me this set up will sound very nice with a quality AV receiver/ AMp.
I have a 7.1.2 surround sound system similar to this (Klipsch RP) but with separate Atmos speakers and a little bit different setup, in a pretty small home theater room and I love how it sounds. I'm no pro audio person, but am really into music, play instruments, and have been into stereos/sound my whole life, and I'm beyond happy with it.

I'm looking to add a surround sound system to my newly renovated living room but I'm worried that because of the small space it might not sound great. Does anybody know what size room these are meant for? mine is about 10x13 feet

These speakers would occupy lot of space. Placing 280FA towers in such a small room is overkill and will take lot of space.

The color definitely works, I just have to double check the sizes of the speakers to make sure they fit properly. Thanks
How do these towers compare to the rp-8000f towers?
I have the 8000's and the 8060's which are basically the same unit... The 8000's are a bit smoother in the mid/high since they are using the newer horn/tweeter design. Is it a huge difference? NO! Not really, some might not even notice it. If the 280's were much less then a 8000 I would def pick it up. If they were close by lets say $50-$100, I would pick up the 8000 series. That's my honest opinion... Keep in mind, the Klipsch sound on these RP series speakers all sound on the "bright" side, so keep that in mind. It;s not until you get into their heritage series where things really start to shine as in the new Forte IV's, now those are smoooooth. Fantastic Mids on it. Love them..
I would love to see a combo of just the RP-280FAs with the RP-450C in Black. I would buy that in a heartbeat
someone on here picked up this 450c and just bought some black veneer wrap from amazon and turned it black, it looked real good when he posted the pics.

I saw that post too and was impressed. I feel like I wouldn't be as successful trying to pull it off haha
