Was listening to this through the library app but they took it back - and it's a loooong book. On the wait list to get it back.
Bought the 3rd one and instead finished the audiobook. My days of sitting and reading long books seem to be done.
I'm about halfway through my first read and it's my least favorite of the series thus far (I really enjoyed the first 3). I've been slowly going through it over the last 4 months and it hasn't pulled me in to finish it. I'm sure if you liked the first 3 and really enjoy world-building/lore, you'll like it. I strongly favor plot and this 1200 page tome spends quite a lot of time on internal mental health struggles and the magic/tech.
I really enjoyed reading the first one, made it through the second, couldn't finish the third on audio book.
How is this fourth compared to the other three?
Same here, 3rd one got a bit boring with all the flash backs. I quit on it and moved on to the wheel of time since the show is on Amazon. I'm enjoying it so far.
Love Sanderson, did not love this book. Felt like 500 pages could have been summarized in 20. Reminded me of that tv show heros where they thought it would be a great idea to take away everyone's super powers but instead it just sucked.

If you thought this was boring good luck when you get to the middle few WOT books

Any deeply emotional parts that stand out? Sanderson is great at word building.

If you thought two and three were disappointing you won't like four. It is generally agreed upon as the weakest of the four
