All of a sudden, everything I really wanted seems to be only available as a bundle for shipping. Eg. The ryobi inflator-deflator was available to ship until yesterday. Now it's only available in store for pickup under this deal. If I wanted this shipped, I get to pay a bunch more for the kit with the battery and charger I don't need. That sucks.

Did I quick look on Big Orange/Home Depot and could not find that kit.

I think I did find the bare tool for $50 ($49.99) at https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../206666886
That price is a Special Buy marked down from $70.00 (or so Big Orange says :c).

The DTFO kit comes with a bag, charger, and 2 - 1.5 AH batteries for $56.00* ($55.99).

So the question you have to ask yourself is if a bag, charger, & 2 1.5 AH batteries worth the 6 dollars more.

* Assuming the free shipping code stops glitching. If not you will have to add $10 to the price for shipping.

Can someone recommend me a leaf blower and a trimmer. I am looking for something more compact and lightweight. Judging from the pic and spec it's hard to know which one is the more compact/lightweight model. I already have 18V batteries so I'd like the 18V models. TIA

The whisper 18v is 410cfm. Highest 18v battery one… on sale for $83.99. Same one at HD 8: $140.

For blower: You want to be careful with the power for it. Need an acceptable CFM. For 18V get the ryobi 18v one+ brushless whisper series cordless battery Jet fan. It is rated for 410 cfm. Anything lower is too weak imo.

I come from a family who only espouses gas tools. They used the latter leaf blower and were impressed with it. They thought it would be weak but felt the latter meets their minimum expectation. I'm a lazy guy so I told them I don't like to spend time fixing gas tools even though I can (too much work and little time to DIY). So if you get the latter keep in mind it is 3 lbs heavier. The former or 18v is what fits the bill for you and its not too bad considering its 410 cfm but anything lower would be too weak imo.

I do not have any recommendations for trimmers bc I bought one on a clearance from HD years ago.
