Seriously, what did you expect, it was a one day sale and it sold out. It happens. I have missed out on countless deals here by being late to the game. Not a big deal. Get over yourselves and move onto the next deal instead of acting immature by complaining or being butt hurt because they won't bend over backwards for you.
Which is the best of the free phones?
Not only will they be locked to T-Mobile, but don't be surprised by the fact that budget phones like these slice and dice which bands they support based upon the operator which sold them. In other words, this is not the same phone as similarly named model from Verizon, and would have different capacity to support functionality on networks outside of T-Mobile (they're all probably 100% fine enough for AT&T).

Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

Good luck!

Dang I woke up at 4am pst but all the white velvets are gone.

Btw, apparently the tmobile version of the velvet is the most powerful variant, yay!

For those who don't see the promo credit in their confirmation email, here's my conversation with T-Mobile CS

S: I just took advantage of your Cyber Monday promo but in the confirmation email I don't see any sign of the promo credit. Could you please confirm that all is in order?
T-M: I really appreciate your interest on the new promotion here at Magenta. I am very happy to assist you with your order. I'm *** your expert for today.

As per checking the order is already reflecting on the account. and for the promotional credits you will received the promotional credits for 24 monthly after you received the device. and please be advice that any promotion Credits begin within two bill cycles of qualification and last the length of the installment term.

Please let me know if you have clarification in the given information.
S: That'd be it. Thank you so much, I just wanted to be sure that the check out process went through correctly.
S: IS there anywhere I can see that info on my account?
T-M: That's a good question. Nothing to worry, once the device was already received and the device is already on the account the system will automatically scan the promotion and this promotion will be applied within one to two billing cycle.
Yes, TMOBILE rep confirmed exactly the same for me over phone.

Ah alright. Helpful for people, as for limit per account? No mention in promo details or lack thereof. I'm really interested in how much your 9 lines are and if those 8 other people are all directly related to you like 7 kids + SO.
Yep, all of us are family, my parents, my wife, daughter and I are on the plan along my sister and her husband then 2 other siblings. We pay $150 + taxes and fees. It is the 4 x $100 plan then $10 each additional line. We had 2.5GB originally then free upgrade to 4GB then in July of this year we all got the free upgrade to unlimited. 19 years is how long we've been with TMo, we've added and removed lines along the way while staying on this plan. We'll never leave or change our plan.

I'd actually signup for this with 55+ essentials for 2 new lines, but sadly they don't tell me what my taxes+fees would be. I'm almost positive that it'll end up being more than Magenta plan that includes taxes+fees in the price.

The phone has to be tied to a line. Pick a line with no bill credits applied to be safe and check out as normal. Pick upgrade a current line.
You can add to any line and still get whatever credits from your previous deals on that same line. I've done this for a few yrs and always get two or 3 credits on that same line. It will tell you at the checkout too if you're getting the credit for that line or not.

That's insane. Genuinely amazed. 3 lines would cost $140 for me, and that's without device payments.

Is there any screen that actually confirms that you will get the credits? I just see it say new monthly cost of $16.67 for the account and $400 as financed amount for the LG Velvet when I went to upgrade my line choosing this phone. Would think monthly amount is $0 after paying the upfront ~$40.
"Your $400.00 promotional credit will be applied as follows:
Recurring bill credit$400.00
$16.67 off your bill for 24 months."
you should see this at checkout on the bottom if your line is good for an upgrade at checkout.

It really is insane, every time we call customer service they're like wow, don't ever change your plan. If we ever had to switch to the new plans it would be close to $300 a month maybe.

Currently using the iPhone 13 which is unlocked but got the Velvet phone as a free back-up phone. I'll just keep it in the box in case I ever need it.
