This model has a NiMH battery. I would suggest one with a Lithium-Ion battery instead.

The black one has the msrp at $150! That gives me hope that it carries a Li-Ion battery.

Based on a few google searches, it looks like its NiMH.

Another indicator is that it only has 10 days of brushing (twice a day) which is typical for NiMH

These should have LiPo batteries. My cheapo $30 Oral B from Costco has one so no way this doesn't either.

ETA: product information says it has a Lithium Ion battery.

ETA2: reviews say NiHM

The triple camel does have it steady at $100 for the past year. Amazon listing says li-ion but I can't seem to verify that anywhere else.

edit: Oral-b website, in a response to a review, oral-b says it is Nimh.
Amazon description must be bogus.

There's a review on 11-24-2021 with an image of the bottom of the unit showing that it is Ni-MH.

I checked on Costco and there is no oral B at $30. When did you buy it and what is your model?

Using it. It has NiMh battery. Pathetic battery life and runs like a tractor in my mouth. Too loud and shaky.

What's the diff between lithium and nickel batteries? Lithium has longer capacity life?
