For me it's the "blackberry test". Blend a blackberry smoothie— are the seeds pulverized? That's the difference between my Vitamix and our previous Ninja blender. The motor is powerful enough to drive a small automobile, probably
Same in power. The 5200 has the tall narrower container so won't fit under countertop but because it's narrower it can make smaller batches. The 750 same power and container size. The 750 has presets. The ventirist you can contoll presets with your phone. These two are legacy and do not have sent detect. In case you'd want to add the food processor or future attachments these will not work. You can't go
wrong with any of these. I got the V 1200 as well.
since these two are new they probably have at least 7 year warranties.
How does this compare to the venturist line? I picked up a refurb venturist in the other deal.

I went with the 750. Good deal and rated highly. I have a Tesla for the techie in me. A high end blender that has a quick clean function is more useful than controlling one with my phone in my opinion

I just bought a 5200 from another deal thread for $279.
I did not realize the 750 would also go on sale. Would I rather have the 750? What is better about it? I don't mind paying more if I get value for that money.

Genuine question so please don't beat me up. What makes this blender worth $250+ vs a typical $20-50 blender.
Maybe it's my ignorance, but I can't seem to think one can blend that much better. Thanks in advance!

I'm sold! I've always wanted to blend up my Lil hyudai...now I can. Woot woot!
I too just bought the 5200 from Amazon but just found this 750 on sale and bought this one instead and returned the other. Here is a good comparison between the two:

I just figured it may be for commercial use. IE: blending 100s of times a day.
But figured I'd ask the experts cuz I always wondered how blenders can get so pricey.

TLDR; 750 is more powerful, has cleaning option and much quieter. For $100 more I figured it's worth it.
