Sure, but I just think it's weird when people act like Gamepass or PS Plus games are "free." We pay for them.
Depending on your playing habits, it may be more worthwhile to buy 3 of these games for $5 each and own them rather than pay $15/mo to rent them if you aren't going to be able to play through all of them in one month.

Heard so many amazing things and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get into them, based on what I know about them. But the amount of content to catch up on is intimidating. Any thoughts from folks who have played them?

And this is why I never play my ps5 anymore. Xbox gamepass gives pretty much all games like these for free and Playstation calls this a sale....
When did Xbox gamepass become free? Lol. I have gamepass from the past $1 deal, and its nice...but there's still a great deal of ps4/ps5 exclusives I'm enjoying on my PlayStation.

No, but it has a damn good price for what it offers.

Your "free" seems to cost at least $100 per year. That is a very twisted definition of free. You also have a very strange definition of "pretty much all".
Not to say GPU isn't a great deal. But it's a very different thing (subscription service) from what you are trying to compare it to (game purchase). Your complaint makes you look like a sad troll or a shill.
Buy the Anniversary Edition. At full price, it's a lot of game with great replay value and they're a small, indie developer, so it's always nice to support their work. I have it on Switch and PS4.

I think of GamePass as a trial period and have played lots of games I wouldn't have interest or want to pay in the first place
