I couldn't find any comparison online of the sharper image vs this Bondir. On Costco website if you go to the Sharper Image reviews and then search for Bondir nothing comes up. If you go to Bondir reviews and search Sharper Imaged you get about 10 reviews. 8 out of the 10 said the Bondir was a better unit. Saying it was more powerful, better battery life, and extension handle helped. 2 people like the sharper image better both quoting this Bondir unit was too loud and the Sharper Image is whisper quiet.

Doesn't really help much but thats all I could find. Plus Sharper Image is out of stock as of now.
I've owned both this and the Sharper Image one. This one performs better overall, but the Sharper Image has 6-speeds vs 3-speeds of this one. I found more speeds to be better.
I felt the Sharper Image one stalls more at low speeds even though it claims to prevent that. Returned it because those stalls would make the unit skip/studder and it can sometimes hurt.
On the Bondir, some quality control issues and I did not like how the extension is made of metal. And because it is metal, it cross-threaded on me and that made me return it.
IMO, the recalled Massimo was the best and it was cheaper. Should have kept it and risked fire.
I think all of these lower end models are a crapshoot as to whether they will work for you or not. $73 to try and return if you don't like it. Hyper Volt and Theragun are top-notch but $250.

On a side note, my massage therapist uses a Ryobi buffer (as in the tool for buffing cars, etc.) to "warm-up" the body prior to a massage. It feels pretty nice. By no means is it deep tissue, but just thought I'd pass along this idea. Might be enough for some. Those are $45 or less (and you can use it for other purposes!).

Add me to the curious - how does this compare to sharper image one for $65. Besides this one having a higher starting price.

For a gift, how's this compared to the Homedics Therapist Select massager? Is it worth getting this and returning the Homedics?
