I bought Micro puff jacket for my wife 2-3 years ago and the Seams started unraveling within a year. Nano is discontinued already. She stills wears it and ask me to buy another one. Are Nano better quality than Micro?

It definitely can be repaired, try taking it to the store once and showing them

For anyone looking, I bought mine for about $130 at one of REI's sales. Usually available a couple times a year for about that price. Check during their spring and labor day sales.

The fit is different though. I'm between Patagonia sizing; Arcteryx is dead on. YMMV.

For the vast majority of people, a $30 jacket from Costco would be just as good.
I'm amazed these $200 puff jackets fall apart within weeks.

I have an older, waterproof North Face jacket that I use when walking around Chicago when it's below 30. I need something that's a bit more suited for the fall and spring, 30-55 degrees.

It costs more but is the Patagonia Silent Down jacket with hood overkill for that? I really like it in classic navy color. I just need something to replace my Columbia Crested Butte from 2016. It's gotten pretty flat after being an idiot and wearing it in all sorts of weather, rain and snow included. I guess it doesn't like getting too wet and that's how you get the flattened, deflated look.

I got a micropuff on the last sale directly from Patagonia. 5'5" 150lbs athletic build. Small was perfect. It's a nice jacket that doesn't get too hot and can handle some low temps but the quality was lacking. I had it for a week in NYC and by the end of my trip I had seams unravel in at least 6 different areas.

From what I've been told, the micropuff is a more technical jacket that's lighter and less durable than the nanopuff.

I also snagged a Mountain Hardwear jacket from the other sale and like it a lot more.

No medium on Men's Hoody. I'm usually Medium or Large depending on the brand. Anyone know if this jacket is true to size or is it best to size up/down? Also, how good is the water resistance?

I usually wear a large but the non hoodie micro for men's was a tad big, I could have gone with a medium

I like Arc'teryx but it's not the end all be all. My cerium LT has feathers coming out all the time that even my cheaper jackets don't have an issue with. Also, lot of Arc'teryx stuff is made in Bangladesh or Vietnam and the brand is now owned by a Chinese company. It's still a good product but not the best at everything

I bought a jacket for my daughter and it arrived today.
What a joke. They call this jacket. It feels like a newspaper and it is about that tick.
$250 price before deal.
I would not pay $25 for this.
