I have no idea what I'm doing anymore. I could open my own board game boutique.

Start a game board co-op. That's what we do. Every set of friends had about 20 games that we hold to lend. It saves money too.

There is no COLLECTOR edition - Only the "Kickstarter" and the "store release". Im not sure why Amazon is listing it as a CE.

* KS had bonus cards the retail did not include. Also KS offered for $$ for metal cubes and card sleeves. Also, the KS had thicker card stock and Dual layers.
Ideas? Maybe Stronghold is releasing the KS boxes to Amazon??

I think that is the difference - if Amazon has the dual layer board and cube tray - thats the one to get:

From the customer question section, this comes with the dual layer player boards.

Buying first - and now the questions lol... Can this be played standalone or do you need the base game. The description said a "faster version" of the game.

Everyone of my board game friends prefer the original Terraforming Mars game to this version. Buy it if you want, but don't be surprised if it sits on your shelf gathering dust cause its never played after the first few times.

Also the suggested play time is a joke. Takes about 2 hours to realistically play if you have good strategy and play cards that you draw more cards.
