Sorry for thread hijacking a bit but has anyone seen cashmere men beanies? I bought a pair on sale from Macys a loooong time ago and loved the way they feel and keeps warm as well as the shape works for my head well. Was never able to find them again (Macy's house-brand no label sadly) let alone even cashmere beanies in general for men. i like the somewhat shallow but stretchy style that doesn't feel too tight on head.

Anyhow, sorry Daisy, hoping some cashmere enthusiast can fill me in on it. Nice deal though, may pick these up for mom and aunt.

I bought one from Uniqlo last year. Not sure if they still have that available.

Just checked a few online reviews for this website and definitely some shady behavior. Mostly to do with them taking months to fulfill orders and bad customer service.

Uniqlo has some nice ones (I've purchased them in the past). I think color selection is pretty limited right now. They're about $30

I bought a few cashmere hats from j crew last year and love them. I think I got them for around $30 each on sale, looks like they're going for a little over $40 now

There are two kinds of cashmere (maybe more but primarily the two), the one you see made into sweaters, caps, etc is from China (or woven into knit fabric in other places like Europe) and cashmere from Kashmir, India. Generally, the later is made into woven items like Pashminas (which they are selling here). But even then, they are much more expensive. For the last 20 or so years , India has been producing these scarves in rayon or viscose (essentially the European word for rayon) and they are what you most see. At $9.09 , there are only an ok buy. Btw, the real pashminas are generally 80% cashmere not 100%. Sorry for the long dissertation, but I got sick of seeing misleading listings like this .

p.s. when importing from India rayon has a higher duty rate % than cashmere.
