Nopes. This is HP Pavilion series which is one tier higher than that model. It has better build quality and thermals, HDMI 2.0, Wi-Fi 6 and a fully certified type-C port which supports data, charging the laptop and display port 1.4.
This happened to me initially with the other $370 HP deal. But EPP lowered the price later and I got it for $322.
This is a fantastic deal with USB-C charging.
It's ridiculous they don't give a better/same pricing with EPP. I don't expect they have inflated the price instead. I have been checking out this model and not seeing price drop to 409 (FHD option) with EPP account. I will keep watching. Thanks for your advice.
Realtek Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5.2 combo (Supporting Gigabit data rate)
Windows 11 Home 64 Plus

I went with the 8GB of RAM, and bought 16GB of RAM from this Newegg deal. The RAM was $50 after taxes, though $30 cheaper compared to the $80 HP wanted for a 16GB upgrade in RAM.

I hope so. HP's upgrade states it's "SDRAM (2 x 8 GB)", so I'm assuming a 2x8GB SO-DIMM kit should work just fine. If not, I'll be sending back some RAM.

Both are upgradable and you can go up to 64gb using 2x32GB memory module.
Any comments if I should get this instead of the Lenovo Ideapad 3 that BB had for $429? I think that only had 4GB of memory which isn't a big deal but I'm wondering if the 300 nits screen is that much brighter?
Wondering why there's not much love for this deal!! I got the below laptop from Costco for $379 and wondering if any gurus can help confirm which of these is a better buy (screen size is not a factor for me) https://www.costco.com/hp-14%22-l...93915.html

I shouldn't convert my account to EPP yesterday.
