Safe to say if I didn't like the 58x Jubilee, I wouldn't like these? 58x were extremely tinny in my non audiophile opinion, I like more bass.
Hard to say. Never heard the 58x, but from what I've read the 58x is similar to some 600 series model, which is different than the 599's.
I've owned and loved the 558's and Game One's. The Game One's are basically the 558's with a mic built-in, and have good bass. They're not overly bassy which some headphone sets purposely crank up to the detriment of the sound quality.
Great deal, have two sets already, don't need a third, but if I did...
Lol, likewise. These are wonderful headphones. Have the predecessor in ivory and these in black. Have bought and resold these black ones during $99 sales before for a little spare cash.
These are really comfortable for anyone asking and the sound is nice and warm. Used the predecessor for counter-strike and they were awesome - always got accused of hacking because of how well I used sound to place people based on footsteps 20-50 feet away. Primarily use these now with a Blue Yeti for WFH / listening to Pandora.

If you want a more pronounced low end, go closed back for sure.
