I bought a new condition xbox controller from them, but what they sent me was obviously refurbished, made to look new. It had dead skin built up on the grippy back area, and one of the thumbsticks had dead skin build up on it as well. It was missing pamphlets, too. No doubt it was refurbished (since they sell those, too).
So far, their customer service team has not responded to me, and its nearly been a week. Now, Thanksgiving was mixed in there, so I waited patiently, but they should have responded by today. They make you submit a support request form, and then they dont let you create an account to view the actual ticket for updates. Their help site has misleading info everywhere. On one page it says to email them at [email protected] , then when you do that, you get a response back saying that email isnt monitored and is a "do not reply" address.
I have no way of being absolutely sure that I have a ticket open with them and that it will be reviewed to process my return.
I will never purchase from them again, and I will go on a crusade against them until they refund my purchase and pay for the return shipping of the controller
Kinda, yes. FastestVPN leaks your IP. Bought this deal years ago. Tried using to redeem country-specific Xbox codes via Argentina. Never worked - always flagged that I was wrong region.
Used a different free one (which others have noted as not a great alternative due to security concerns so I won't include the name) and was immediately able to redeem.

I bought this software over the summer. It's been nothing but problems and has totally screwed up two PCs I used this on. I will need to reimage both. Beware - you get what you pay for.

I agree. In my case, it would just completely disable the internet on my PC.

Use OpenVPN software, not their crap. It's not hard.
You get what you paid for... most of the time. This is that time

OpenVPN is just the software to connect to their vpn. you can still use fastestvpn and use openvpn software.
For VPN protocol you want this:
WireGuard® is an extremely simple yet fast and modern VPN that utilizes state-of-the-art cryptography. It aims to be faster, simpler, leaner, and more useful than IPsec, while avoiding the massive headache. It intends to be considerably more performant than OpenVPN. WireGuard is designed as a general purpose VPN for running on embedded interfaces and super computers alike, fit for many different circumstances. Initially released for the Linux kernel, it is now cross-platform (Windows, macOS, BSD, iOS, Android) and widely deployable. It is currently under heavy development, but already it might be regarded as the most secure, easiest to use, and simplest VPN solution in the industry.
Bought FastestVPN a year ago. After trying I never used it. It's slow as hell. All their servers are located in California, not physically in the countries they claim to be. As a result, it is almost useless in circumventing geolocational restrictions. How much privacy protection do you expect it to provide, given that all servers are in the US?
