Things to consider: if you're tall skinny, and you've ever had issues with buying a large but the sleeves pulling up when you raise your arms, your actually a large-tall... This realization will change your life. These jackets come in tall sizes. They are not waterproof, but insulate amazingly. You can crush them down and roll it to the size of a Chipotle burrito. Great for keeping in your backpack or car; amazing for travel. I live in Buffalo and used to travel to Florida for work trips during the winter. This jacket was a godsend becuase I could still have a jacket to and from the airport, but didn't have to pack a lot when in FL. An enzyme cleaner will clean these perfectly (HEX or tide sport) honestly, for $40, these make great presents if you can get them before Christmas. Either way, I can't say enough good about them.

I got this last deal, about 2(?) weeks ago. It has not shipped yet. I ordered a XL Tall if it matters. My order says, "Pre-order item expected to ship on or before 12/26/2021."

My working assumption is those who order today will have a similar shipping date.

Might not be a good choice for a christmas gift, unless worth it as a late christmas gift.

Got one of these for myself and one for the other half last year.
Shipping was slow then too, and be warned it's not a heavy weight winter coat...

This is a packable jacket...and it's not a wear alone item..use it as a layer.

Was camping a week ago..temps were mid 40s for high and lows in mid 20s. Had this jacket...wore thermals, sweatshirt, this jacket and a UA Rock down vest. I was able to moderate temperature during the trip, but it was not suitable by itself.

I also got the deal like 3 weeks ago and they recently sent me an email saying they cancelled my order since they do not have anymore in stock.

FWIW, this has been the price for a few weeks now. I get "excited" emails from EB every day now bragging about Cirrus Lite at $40. And like others, my delivery date was about 3-4 weeks out and the site has no way to check order status unless you signed up for an account.

I like EB in general, but this has all been pretty annoying…

I got this from the last deal at around the same price.

For $40 I'm pretty happy. The quality seems pretty good, and it's not the warmest jacket but I live in NC-our winters are relatively mild. It is definitely warmer than some of the other cheap packable jackets I have, but I think it needs a sweater underneath.

I asked for the hooded version from Santa for Christmas.
