Or, someone who's willing and has knowledge about those items, can help him out.. Sometimes we all don't have the time to research screwdrivers.. But I always appreciate those that have attainted knowledge and willing to share
This is a really nice screwdriver set to have in your bag, I bought it last year. The price is rarely $50 though, usually $30 so not that hot of a deal. Its worth it though.

That manufacturer provided photo can be ignored. The title and product description, which takes precedence, is correct in showing this item includes Slotted and Phillips bits.

Total length with the driver extended, including a #2 Philips bit inserted, is 7 15/16". So yes, just under 8 inches.

Collapsed, 5 3/4".
Thanks for the info - rep'd.

I have this. The bulky magnetic tip holder gets in the way when working in tight spaces. The retractable bit holder is removable so you can attach the bits directly to the handle. Feels good in the hand and appropriate for 10% of my work when hand torquing is needed.

I'll use a Dewalt 8v electric screwdriver for the bulk of my work.

Or you could tell me what you like about it instead of being a cretin about it.

You realize of course that anything I find on the Internet is biased by whomever is getting a free sample. I would prefer people who have bought it and decided one way or the other.

If you needed more convincing, actually read the comments in this thread and you'll see that it's about 50-50 on people who are wishy-washy about the device. If you don't want to offer your input, that's fine, don't hinder others.

I realize it is a very low price, but not having a ratchet is pretty annoying. I would definitely spend more for a ratcheting model if one is on sale.
I agree. I went with the Kraftform Kompakt 27 [amazon.com] for that reason.

tbh though I often just use this Milwaukee screwdriver with long bits [homedepot.com] because it fits in more spaces and works better when I need to pry something.

I own this and have mixed feeling about this. The tip has a lump to accept different heads. That lump is surprisingly inconvenient because it often interferences with turning the screwdriver in tight places. Definitely would choose a different type given changes.
I bought this as a result of that and I swap it when needed https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

The real problem with these comes when you have an inset screw. You end up looking for a regular screwdriver. I ended up adding one of these Picquic 48124 full-size SIXPAC Plus multi-bit screwdriver with seven bits to my bag. These have longer bits.

Slickdeals is a place to see arguments over mundane things like screwdrivers. I use Slickdeals as my reference for many different things and I want people to take on the burden of spreading their unpaid opinion on things like laptops, gaming rigs, etc. So yeah, why is Wera so special, anyway?

Generally extremely high quality bits and tooling (generally). Stronger bits = less likely to bend under higher torque, better tolerances, etc.

This model comes with Pozidriv bits, which are used in Europe. Not Phillips which is used in USA.

Mine has Phillips. Bought about 3 years ago, same link on Amazon. Maybe you got an import.

And that's one of the big reasons I come to this site, to read about other peoples experiences about these products, not necessarily the deals.

amazon just cancelled my order for this saying "Undeliverable: We're sorry but we have to return this Amazon package. We will issue a refund once we process the return. More info: amzn.com/orders" - such a disappointment, was looking forward to finally owning some wera tools.
