Subway coupons arrived today with new codes to use online and in the app. Sadly, they did not include $3.49 6in and instead was replaced with a buy a 6in meal and get a 6in sub free coupon. Code details are below the code. Expires 12/31/21.

This seems to be YMMV as not all restaruants take these codes and some have different coupons. I scanned and attached the coupon brochure to the post.

The next issue was that pizza places started doing $5-$6 pizzas which then prolonged their pricing to be at that point else people were thinking why get a sub when I can get a whole pie and possibly feed 3.


They kept selling the revenue model to new franchises based on those glory day numbers and since they kept the $5 for so long everyone became accustomed to that being the price so a $6 sandwich is now a 20% increase and consumer balked at it. There were issues with food quality so they took away franchise's options to get cheaper product at the risk of it being bad quality and so all those things made the cost of a sandwich higher and the profit a franchise made smaller and smaller.


Many franchise's were greedy and cheap and so the more they lost they more shittier they made their food and in turn made a bad product for the consumer and started to dig their own graves as people started leaving. This is not to mention Jared, salmonella, not really healthy products and other organizational issues.

Why would you order 2 footlongs promo @ $12.99 when you could just have two separate orders for 1 footlong @ $5.99 and save a dollar? Scratching my head on this...
