If you're going to game on it, this is better than the costco LG.

For workstation go with IPS panel, gaming monitors are usually VA panel

If you aren't going to game on the monitor, I'd definitely go with something cheaper. You're paying for features that wouldn't be of use to you.

I got both LG and Dell. I wanted to keep both but deinitely returnign LG from Costco. It really sucks when it comes to text clarity.

I ended up cancelling my Costco order and going with this for more future-proofing with the added refresh rate and better general quality that is associated with Dell. I lose 1" of screen, weaker speakers and lose the ease of Costco returns/4 year warranty, but I think the Dell is still a better unit for both gaming and work and their 3y warranty is pretty solid granted it requires shipping the unit.
Used rak*10 for CB and the Paypal deal with Chase, this came out to only $9 more than even the executive Costco savings :woot:

No, it says hdmi taps out at 100hz and since Xbox does not have a 100hz option it will only output 60hz
