I'm quoting a comment from the Nexxus shampoo/conditioner thread, but try adding the item to your cart first.

Add the Dove to your cart (non-subscribe and save).
Click through to checkout.
Checkout will show "Save 30% today; Save up to 15% on future auto-deliveries" next to the item. Click that and it should apply the 25% off.
*I followed these steps and then went back to the product page and successfully ordered out with S&S.
