You can literally use these Processors for any kind of demanding tasks like Video Encoding, huge Code compilation, Huge data calculations in Excels, rendering etc. This processor can be up to 100% more powerful in multithreaded applications than Intel's best 11th Gen CPU 1185G7 or 1195G7.

Deal is okay, but I paid $1109 over the weekend for the T14s:
- Ryzen 7 Pro 5850u
- 32gb LPDDR4X 4266MHz
- 14.0" FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS, anti-glare, touchscreen with Privacy Guard, 500 nits
- .4lbs lighter because carbon fiber, magnesium alloy, aluminum.
**T14 above is plastic and magnesium alloy. (Heavier and thicker).
T14 does have a slot to upgrade ram as well.

Easiest is to refuse shipment if you don't want it, they require signature so you cannot miss the delivery man. They also have a 30 day return policy no questions asked, you need to contact them for this.
2 min 8 sec Thinkpad T14 Ryzen 7 Pro 5850u Integrated AMD Radeon Graphics 24GB DDR4
1 min 41 sec Desktop Ryzen 7 1700x GTX 1080 32GB DDR4
When did you place the order? I'm worried about their shipment delay.
And just to let you know, if you run any multi-threaded workloads like a video encoding in Handbrake, you will be surprised to see that your older i7-10710U is still faster than your 11th Gen Quad Core i5-1145G7. Don't go by what manufacturers say about their new hardware and what it supposedly do better.

Yup, on Monday night. Had this laptop in the cart and on Tuesday couldn't check out for the same price. So mad at myself

Yup! I was able to snag T14s instead - the feel of the magnesium body is fantastic. Lenovo is clearing remaining inventory to hit the sales targets, so this is probably as low as prices will go for the remainder of the year

I ended up with the T14 per the topic DA, looking forward to it. It's replacing a T470 that's struggling with rendering with Premiere. Hopefully I can run some Halo MCC on it too.
