Then you have some brand new movies that look like trash, compared to the ones I just mentioned. Age doesn't matter one bit. It all comes down to what work they do on each movie. All 4K upgrades are not created equal. Your best bet, if you're not sure, is check sites like bluray.com. They review tons of 4K movies and tell you exactly what differences there are.

Its also the reason why TV shows such as Home Improvement and The Drew Carey show haven't gotten updated for hi-def wide-screen entertainment, because instead of being shot on film they were shot on video so there is no hi-def source in existence.
That's a great deal for cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks . . .

I forgot which region on the blu-ray (released in 2012-14? ) where they did a fantastic remaster of the original, nothing was added nor removed. Images were clean with very minimal grain/noise effects. Someone uploaded episodes 1-6 on Youtube. I think many fans will be happy if they remastered that onto 4K, but no, instead we got a lazy, flashy blu-ray attempt.
I don't know if you are aware but there are AI software out there that people are experimenting with upscaling HD videos/movie clips to 4k and some look outstanding. You look them up and watch on YouTube. They are not perfect today but in 3+ years, I think the software will be smart enough along with advance computers to handle the workload to upscale an entire HD movie to 4k in less than...24hrs.
lol, I guess you've been looking at the same Star Wars III scene where they're in their X-wing fighters. I turned that on once, but I still like the look of the Gemini Man with the Dolby Vision trailer that the store showed me when they sold me the TV. I think it's funny that I'm pretty much in the same position I was back in 2001 when I had a 1080i projection TV and the only thing I could watch to make the most of it was a Corvette paid programming infomercial. I remember when my family stopped by to see the set, and the only thing on HDNet at the time was a woman's power lifting. Watching large women squat lift in HD was kind of weird....

It's amazing to watch on a proper 4K Dolby Vision TV though, why not find somewhere to buy Gemini Man on disc if you enjoyed the trailer so much?
