They want new customers to show growth. Obviously you keep renewing so there's no need to send you a discount offer.
Maybe, like with DirecTV, if tell them that you are going to cancel service when your contract expires they will make a better offer.

I have a 2013 Ford F150 and the offer was not available. My account has only been inactive a few months. The best offer was $99 for one year. Not gonna happen.

Really hate how deals are only ever for people who are not customers. Despite my insistence, my wife has continued to be a customer for about 10 years, now. The only deal we ever see is 1 year for about $99, which comes out to be about $120 after fees and taxes.
Then call to cancel and negotiate a new deal. When I got my first "real" Sirius bill for $18 / month after my $5 /month promotional rate ended I called to cancel and of course they tried to talk me out of it. So I just said — Look this is a 3rd car for a 2 driver family so Sirius is only worth about $5 per month for this car. To my surprise they said OK —$5 it is! ($6 after taxes and made up Sirius fees).

Can one cancel and wait a few days and then get this deal? I have two radios that I pay about 4.12 a month for each, would rather just do this for five years and be done with it.

Has anyone successfully gotten off of their postal mailing list? I really enjoy the service, but the 3x/week junk mail is so wasteful.

I just renewed my promotion on one of my radios this week. Talked down from $17.99 to $12.99 to $5.99 in a matter of 10 minutes using their customer service chat. Pay roughly $65/yr for each radio.

In the past I have had to switch service to different vehicles. They will do it but charge a "Fee.".
Ive swapped radios twice and refused to pay the $15 fee. Same account too. Ask and you shall receive.

Next time you are up for renewal call them and tell them you will only pay $5 monthly or you will cancel. I've never paid more than this, they will accommodate. They will budge, just keep saying you will cancel until they agree

I've been on the $5 per month for 5 months (5 for 25) or $5 per month for 6 months (6 month special offer) for many years now. I'm really tired of having to call the day before my plan expires to get on another plan. I renewed today and the agent I chatted with got me on a $5.99 per month plan for life. Its 0.99 more then I was paying but I'll never had to remember to call again. This new plan bills monthly. Works out to $7.75 with the fees and taxes per radio per month.

It's the same way for cable/internet plans and cell phone package deals

The lifetime subscription was tied to the radio, not the account.
So unless you are driving the same car from 2002 today, sure you got a great deal.

Lifetime subscriptions were like you said until a class action lawsuit changed things. They are now retroactively available for transfers between radios. The suit applied to all past subscriptions.
