I wish there was a way to block out a bunch of channels to skip over. I'm a Gen xer who grew up on classic rock but does anybody really need a U2, Pearl Jam or DMB or Phish or Bruce channel? I can't even imagine listening to the vaguely related content they play on the Beatles channel all the time. Tom Petty is cool but 24 hrs a day?
That's the value I personally place on it...<$3/mo.
We drive our cars ~3000 mi/year each so we might value it lower than some.
We pay $3/mo for Spotify (on a family plan). Its more useful since we don't care much about sports (and even less about Howard). I do have the XM app on my phone and occasionally use it (a family member pays for it, but doesn't use the app portion). Still...its probably 95% Spotify, 5% XM app.
Admittedly, Sirius does have value, but to a niche user base. However, I wager most would get more value out of $5/mo elsewhere.
Still..if I'm able to get the $99 for 3 years again someday, I might do it.
The lower levels don't interest me at all. I can stream Spotify or Pandora for music stations.
I pay around $17/mo for Platinum so I can keep the NFL stations, talk stations, extra music channels, etc. And that was after haggling with support to get that "special" pricing.

There are many free commercial free dead streaming stations so its hard to justify

So unless you are driving the same car from 2002 today, sure you got a great deal.
