Only three banks in the United States offer virtual credit cards to their customers. They are Citibank, Bank of America, and Capital One
Don't forget Privacy.com, I just signed up with them a couple of days ago to use on the free month of Paramount+.

Every year or so we sign up for a 6 month plan, I listen to it for a couple of months and then I get sick of hearing the same crap and give up.
I wish there was a way to block out a bunch of channels to skip over. I'm a Gen xer who grew up on classic rock but does anybody really need a U2, Pearl Jam or DMB or Phish or Bruce channel? I can't even imagine listening to the vaguely related content they play on the Beatles channel all the time. Tom Petty is cool but 24 hrs a day?
Phish and Grateful Dead channels are the reasons I subscribe.

I had the 3 yr deal on my 2008, but its ineligible at the moment for another.

That's the value I personally place on it...<$3/mo.

We drive our cars ~3000 mi/year each so we might value it lower than some.

We pay $3/mo for Spotify (on a family plan). Its more useful since we don't care much about sports (and even less about Howard). I do have the XM app on my phone and occasionally use it (a family member pays for it, but doesn't use the app portion). Still...its probably 95% Spotify, 5% XM app.

Admittedly, Sirius does have value, but to a niche user base. However, I wager most would get more value out of $5/mo elsewhere.

Still..if I'm able to get the $99 for 3 years again someday, I might do it.

I have it because cell phone service sucks and satellite is more reliable.

I do not see it with Citi neither
After you login to Citi, there is a link that says "View All Services". Click on that and then the next page has a link to "Virtual Account Number" in the middle.

What is everyone paying for Platinum per month?

The lower levels don't interest me at all. I can stream Spotify or Pandora for music stations.

I pay around $17/mo for Platinum so I can keep the NFL stations, talk stations, extra music channels, etc. And that was after haggling with support to get that "special" pricing.

Can someone tell me the appeal of xm. Why pay them 60+ a year when I can go to Spotify youtube music or any other streaming service and pick the music i want for a few dollars more. I had a xm trial and felt like I was listening to the same old radio cept now I had 10x more times cycling for something good. With the news on the fm stations and crafted music on Spotify I'm set. I ask because I'm always getting spammed for a new offer by xm.
XM is on my radio in the car. Spotify is not.

keep telling them it is too expensive until they get down to $5.99/month. Then after fees and what not, it is under $100 for the year.

Big Steve is why I would sign up.

There are many free commercial free dead streaming stations so its hard to justify

I've been on the $5 per month for 5 months (5 for 25) or $5 per month for 6 months (6 month special offer) for many years now. I'm really tired of having to call the day before my plan expires to get on another plan. I renewed today and the agent I chatted with got me on a $5.99 per month plan for life. Its 0.99 more then I was paying but I'll never had to remember to call again. This new plan bills monthly. Works out to $7.75 with the fees and taxes per radio per month.
Lmao... There is no such plan

If you tie your din to your phone it is, or install an Android 4g lte Android double din and put a red pocket sim in it

My answer is (And not in a mean way) if you don't know why you probably don't need it. Driving around and losing the cell signal isn't fun when traveling if you are streaming. Nowhere near the amount of commercials on many channels. Getting my local sports. I like a couple of the DJ's on the Decades channels it isn't always about just music. I very often listen to the comedy channels. If none of that makes it worth it for you then as I say you don't need it.
oh there is alot of things probably I dont need. Well you missed a sale good buddy. Lol. my buddy did mention the comedy channels.

I just re-upped my Platinum. I called and they offered me $17/month, I said that was more than I can afford, they went to $15/month and I balked again and then they offered $13/month for platinum. I'm ok with that as I too need the NFL and talk stations.

The lifetime subscription was tied to the radio, not the account.
So unless you are driving the same car from 2002 today, sure you got a great deal.
My lifetime has been transferred to 3 new, different vehicles since my purchase in 2010…lifetime is tied to account. I did pay $75 to transfer to new vehicle each time.
