I'm certain, not sure about you. Reason, instead of believing an Product Image (I still did not find where it says data, video and charging for the Type-C), I actually checked the reviews and Acer Product page f0r details where it is clearly mentioned.

That is a generic Description for Type-C Port, not what it is configured in this Laptop. Let me show you, at least for Acer Laptops, how to check the capability of the Type-C Port.
This specific one has model number of AN515-45-R92M. If you go to the Acer Product Specification Page for this Laptop and check the USB Type-C Detail under Interfaces/Ports section, you'll see just USB Type-C port: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps) https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/con....QBCAA.001
On the other hand, Predator Triton 500 SE, model Name PT516-51s-71Q2, has a Thunderbolt 4 port which supports DisplayPort, 65W Charging of the Laptop and Data. If you go to the exact same location as mentioned above to this product page, you will see that the USB Type-C Detail has USB Type-C port, supporting: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps), DisplayPort over USB-C, Thunderbolt 4, USB charging 5 V; 3 A, DC-in port 20 V; 65 W https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/con....QE7AA.001
I posted this in the other Acer thread, too. Two years ago I bought the Acer nitro gaming laptop. It lasted a year and a half because the way the hinge connects to the screen. The plastic housing/bezel was really pathetic and the arms that "hug" the screen are thin strips of steel, which broke from the hinges. Im no stranger to electronics repairs, but a hen I went to replace, I accidentally slightly damaged the spot the screen ribbon connects to the board, ruining it permanently.
That was midsummer; now it runs with an external monitor but no longer has a screen. I'm very disappointed and that, alone, would keep me from going back to Acer. From the photo, it looks like this exact design, so it's possible this screen connects in the exact same way. I don't care about the rest of the specs if the build quality on these sucks so badly you can't even get two years.

Hope that clarifies your doubt.
Thanks for the clarification.
It's pretty misleading for them to post a generic description that lists features unsupported by this model. They might as well add in 4K display there too, even though this doesn't have it.
I think an RTX3070 is a much better buy. More expensive, but worth it in terms of performance and longevity. Unfortunately, all the 3070 deals appear to be over, for now.
