± 3/16 in. @ 30 ft. is theoretically ± 1/16 in. @ 10ft. and pretty close for many projects. The line will be that wide and checking with a decent level, you will know at what point on the line is about perfect. Meanwhile, red laser is out and green is in as easier to see, but the price is right.

But.... no warm fuzzies with their disclaimer:

FINAL SALE: NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES; NOT ELIGIBLE FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE
PS: By Federal law, I am pretty sure that all items delivered have a 30 day return for DOA issues.

PPS: The offered discount of 15% at checkout for ID.me (Military, First Responders, Students, and Teachers receive 15% off) that shares your information with SnowJoe does not work. Also, the 10% coupon for signing up for emails does not work. A bit of a scam there, Snow Joe for collecting personal information, so not no, but hell no.

Some cheap laser levels are below $20 on Amazon. If no return, it needs to be cheaper to be a slick deal.

Some of my credit cards allow protection (i.e. return policies, extended warranty, etc). I would not worry about this, myself. Actually, if, let's say, you don't want after 40 days, call your cc and tell them that the vendor won't allow returns, your cc will refund you your money and you get to keep the item. I've done this at one point a few years ago and Amex took care of me.

I am not concerned about the short term returns or credits. I use PayPal and have for over 20 years as another step between whomever and my banks, with a much more extended time frame for any complaints than any credit card. We still have six months, with free returns.

What was an irritation was using the ID.me plastered at checkout that shares your personal information with SnowJoe that is beyond what is needed for an order, that then refused the 15% discount they offered at checkout for using same.

I get enough robo calls, spam email and regular mail and find this practice of SnowJoe as no different than the scam sites that collect personal information as very big business. Obviously, ID.me does not verify what sites use their services and a bit concerning they are even allowed to access military and first responder databases.
