Why do people buy any non-OLED LG TV? The price point, even on sale like this, doesn't match up to the picture quality.

An IPS panel like this allows for a nice viewing angle, but that's about all it has going for it.

A Mini-LED QLED combination is actually a really good TV. I bought my mom's the TCL 6-Series Mini-LED QLED TV from 2020 & it looks almost as good as my LG OLED

Yes, I agree that Mini-LED is a great technology. That doesn't mean that this TV is a good value. Your mom's TCL is a far better deal even at MSRP.
