My daughter and I have a sup touring/teaching business (she does most of the work) and have a total of 8 boards, all inflatable since better durability and not needing a trailer when we had the hard boards. We have a Red Paddle, a Pop El Capitan, DAMA, and 5 Body Glove Performer 11's. All good boards, but the BG boards are a bit stiffer with zero flex. The Red cost me $1200 and while it's a good board, the side plastic battens (stringers) for strength need to be inserted into the sides and that's a pain in the rear, especially on a sandy beach. It's a weird design IMO. I don't see any advantage to spending this much for isup, unless you are wanting a racing board which are twitchy (unstable). The DAMA is ok, but lots of flex for anyone over 200lbs, the POP El Capitan is a big boy/freight hauler at 11'6" x 36" x 6" with a big weight cap. It's stable as a rock and great for taking along a dog, kid, cooler, camping gear, etc. I started with 3 BG Performer 2018 model (yellow) and then adding this 2021 model. All have been great all around boards that are very stiff with no flex even for me at 225lbs. As far as I know, BG is the only brand using 3 stringer design for strength. I really like that the 3 fins are shorter than the US Fin box long single so it will allow one into shallower water without scraping bottom. Never fails that when someone hits rocks in the shallows on the DAMA or Red with their long fin and they sometimes lose balance. Tracking is fine on the BG boards and not having to insert and tighten a fin is a plus. If you are a big guy over 225lbs and over or need the extra stability, the El Capitan boards are built like a tank with heavier pvc and bungie front and rear, handles front/rear, and 2 year warranty. Get this board if you want to do rough white water paddling. Hala has a big name in white water isuping, but they are pushing $1,000.

Have it. Bought it in june, pretty good. I've used it maybe 8 times last year so far.

10 minutes or so to inflate as I want stringy arms.
Deflated each time and rolled up. Backpack holder is convenient. as it fits everything plus a bit of room for the extra stuff. I do unroll when I get home to let it dry fully before putting it away.

It was $70 off before and $100 off now, which is the highest I've seen for this product (and I have followed this product for years).

Maybe you meant $70 off ? Body glove paddle board has never been straight up $70 total. No way. No how

Not sure what brand you used but I tried some cheaper ones before and none lasted long. This one even has a dock for my GoPro so it's another win for me

I got this over the summer and love it. Very stable, easy to inflate with the included pump (about 5-10 minutes) and the backpack and accessories are of good quality.

I bought a cheap one last summer for $129, it light weight which could be a pro or con, it's easier to carry around but I don't think it's good for open ocean. I rented an inflatable paddle board before which was much heavier and I used it in open ocean which no issue.

Most of us were surprised how good the cheap walmart ones turned out. I'll wait for that deal to come around again. I flipped mine on the lake and then later on CL for $70 profit easily. Expired. https://slickdeals.net/f/15215692-maxkare-inflatable-stand-up-paddle-board-naipocare-120-00-free-shipping?v=1

Yeah, I like mine a lot and almost bought a second one.

But I do want one that's a little bigger. The 10'6 is a little small to throw a second person on.
The body glove is 6" longer and 2" wider which should make it both a little more stable and maybe a little faster. That said, it doesn't have a big fin which can be annoying for long straight paddles...

I'm probably going to pass, but $299 is a great price for a genuine Body Glove especially since you can return to Costco.

I'm hoping I find another decent no-name chinese deal on a slightly larger SUP sometime in the next 6 months.

We have owned 4 different brands of SUPs over the past 15 years and we thought the Body Glove was a good deal at $399 with paddle, manual pump, etc. Between my friends and I, we have 5 of this SUP. We have used on a lake, river and ocean. Inflatable SUP are not as fast as a regular SUP, but this is easy to put in the bag and put in the trunk. I purchased an electric pump since I don't have the arm strength or cardio to pump it all the way to 15psi (It's a workout but my husband thinks its easy). The electric pump takes less than 3 minutes. If I didn't own two of them, I would grab another. And buying at Costco is a no brainer because of their excellent return policy.
