I have the original one of these SUPs for maybe 6 or 7 years now (in yellow) and it has been fine. Later I bought the 10'6" yoga board and the giant 4 person version. We also have some BIC glass boards which do track much better in non-flat water but these inflatables sure are convenient from a transport/storage platform.

I keep the inflatables at the lake and the glass boards at the beach.

Do yourself a favor and get an electric pump. Getting the board to 15 PSI is a pain. Takes most people about 15 mins. This is time that could be spent on the water. If you are a petite woman you will have difficulty with the last few PSI because you lack the body weight needed to depress the plunger of the pump.

Have had one for 3 years and have loved it. Still in great shape. Used on open ocean (difficult), sounds and lakes/ponds. Much better in calmer water. Inflating by hand is really good exercise. I use a low pressure pump to get some air into it, then manually finish it. Problem I have using the electric/battery pumps is they are very loud and it's pretty embarrassing to roll up on a quiet spot and use it. I did buy an adapter for $6 off Amazon to use the high pressure Ryobi I flair I have but a YouTube video showed this takes 30 minutes. No way I'll do that.

I got a second one with this deal.

The first review I read specifically mentions paddling with a dog....

Yes. I have had my 105 lb wife sit up front while I paddle (160 lb).

I have paddled 5 miles plus down a shallow river with myself 180lbs, my daughter (maybe 100lbs) and a small cooler strapped down to sit on when needed.

Price adjustments usually only within the first month maybe. Just ask and show your card at help desk, you don't need the actual receipt.

Can I just a car tire inflator I already have? I assume there's an adapter I can use?

Yeah, I like mine a lot and almost bought a second one.

But I do want one that's a little bigger. The 10'6 is a little small to throw a second person on.
The body glove is 6" longer and 2" wider which should make it both a little more stable and maybe a little faster. That said, it doesn't have a big fin which can be annoying for long straight paddles...

I'm probably going to pass, but $299 is a great price for a genuine Body Glove especially since you can return to Costco.

I'm hoping I find another decent no-name chinese deal on a slightly larger SUP sometime in the next 6 months.

I have this companies yoga inflatable SUP and it's a bit larger than normal for...you know...yoga ish things. It's held up well. The sale from Black Friday still seems to be going. https://abrazosports.com/collecti...e-yoga-sup

Don't how much more stiffness these triple layer board can provide, but 24lbs is heavier than most of the dual layer isup on Amazon. Those weigh about 18lbs, significant difference!
