No HDMI 2.1 makes this a deal breaker for most gamers.
Excellent tv to watch movies or sports though.

You may want to call an ocular surgeon then if you think LCD is the way to go

Sounds good to me!

I do my gaming on PC. Was looking for a TV to dedicate to movies and sports. I'm coming from a Samsung 40" HDTV from 2008 so this should melt my brain.

They won't ship to my store or any store even remotely close. I'm in NJ and the closest store where I can ship to is just outside of Boston, MA. 343 miles one way.

Still would go with the LG A1 if you are looking for a solid affordable OLED

LOL. Have OLED since 2019 but prefer modern LCD with much brighter display.

Maybe the TV is in an area with controlled lighting? Not every TV has to be pumped up to 100% brightness. It is possible to enjoy both tech for different needs. Your experience is not the only experience to be had.

I have the 55" version of this tv ($710 open box). Ufhhh it's good! Even in a bright room. And it's so thin - get a lot of comments on that alone.

Have a 10% off coupon that will apply to the Hisense, but not this one. Anyone have any idea why?

What exactly does HDMI 2.1 do? I have a Xbox series X and have been using it on a LG C8 and a LG C1 with HDMI 2.1 and the experience is exactly the same to me. Got the HDMI 2.1 but it does nothing so far, been playing the new Halo Infinite multiplayer and Forza 5. Feel like it was just a marketing gimmick, unless I'm missing something and would love to be enlightened.

Brighter LCD screens aren't better. I have had my OLED in a room with 11 windows and it's still excellent...since 2014.
