Hisense 65U8G

$981 + 10% Cashback with Amazon Prime CC + Free Shipping = $882 + Tax

Must buy from Amazon.com and pay with Amazon Prime CC to get 10% cashback offer.

It is $17 Cheaper than Black Friday deal of $998 (+ 10% cashback with Amazon Prime CC)... If you bought last week (like me), not sure if worth the effort to buy and return

The Brandsmart deal with Best Buy price match on this same TV didn't require having a store credit card and BestBuy included free delivery and for most people a much easier return process for large electronics.

LOL! You gotta be kidding me. I bought this from Amazon (already delivered) for 998. Now it's 981??
Amazon is really being petty with this one. A LOT of people sent feedback stating PC Richard had this for 899. They REALLY don't want to price match this set!
It reminds me of when a market maker KNEW you were trying to sell at a certain price and he wouldn't give it to you even with the market pressure.

Can anyone help me understand how 1k for this is a good price? I got a 65 inch Hisense 4k TV 2 years ago on black Friday for 300. Has the brand reputation gone up that much?

Just like any other TV company, as you go up they cost more, but have more features, better contrast, better picture, etc... Plus 2 years ago there wasn't a chip shortage.

I went to Best Buy to look at this TV. It look very very nice. I was trying to compare it to the LG OLED tv's that cost $1,800 on sale. I think the OLED looked slightly better. But I wouldn't be able to justify the extra $800. However, I still can't pull the trigger, since I think it was a little cheaper a month or so ago. Fingers crossed for the Super Bowl it will be on a bigger sale.

This is a much higher end model. Really good black levels, hdmi 2.1, 120hz, and vrr. Good for gaming.

There are less expensive Hisense models with worse picture and fewer features.
