So much misinformation in this thread. This is an amazing deal. The EX-3 DOES HAVE auto-resistance. Paired with the qdomyos-zwift app and the Peloton app, you have a Peloton Bike+ (no leaderboard, but who gives a f***). The auto-resistance is the main difference between this and the Connect Sport, but the EX-3 comes with duo SPD clip/shoe cage pedals, a better saddle, an adjustable tablet holder, two water bottle holders, and a dumbbell holder. Most people won't notice the difference in flywheel. I've owned both the EX-3 and Sport Connect and the build quality for both is excellent. I do both Peloton and Zwift and the auto-resistance feature in Zwift is a must!
Buy $500 worth of Target giftcards for 10% off today, purchase online then price match to Walmart for additional savings. I unfortunately bought from Target and price matched last night using with Redcard, forgot about giftcard promo today - bought as gift for family. Still cheaper this route with the 5% Redcard savings than going with Walmart/Amazon direct.
I see that Honey is currently offering 5390 back in Honey Gold on the bike at Walmart.com which can be redeemed for $53.90 back.
So after Honey CB, final price is $485 + tax!

Why on every deal for the past month is there multiple people pushing the whole price match to target thing. Almost seems like Target is paying for that tbh.
I think it is two things:

1. Redcard users get 5% off.
2. You can save 10% more currently at Target if you buy Target gift cards with their promotion at the moment.

I opted to buy it from Walmart with 10% cashback via Honey - less trouble than trying to PM with Target, buy giftcards, etc.

That bike is an ergonomic nightmare. The resistance is changed via buttons, which they placed on the tablet holder and since you need to use your own tablet with this bike you won't have direct access to them. Ingenious design.

Is this worth buying if you have no interest in the apps? I doubt I'd even use the tablet since my work out area has a big TV on the wall.

What's the best quality "dumb" bike for the price right now?

I ordered the Walmart version. I know the bike doesn't have a display How can we view the stats? What is Zwift? It is subscription like Peloton?

Also agreed. I'm at the highest height of the handlebars and lowered the seat but still too low. Some dumb designs no doubt.

In addition to the 10% with Target gift cards, it looks like the Target one comes with a 90 day Echelon Premier Membership, but the Walmart and Amazon versions do not. Maybe it's just an error in the product descriptions.

zwift is a cycling simulator where you go on virtual road rides with others - its catered to cyclists in the off season vs ppl who like spin classes like peloton - of course you can like both - everything is sub these days including zwift - you gotta look up pricing - for the full zwift experience you're ideally talking about road bike on a smart trainer that will do auto-resistance based on terrain while you adjust your gears as you would in real life - not sure how good the experience translates to internet connected spin bikes and zwift, guess it depends on how purist you are or are just looking for change in pace vs peloton like classes

1) You need a device to display your stats. Your phone is fine. 2) Zwift is a virtual cycling and running "game". Makes exercise more interesting. It costs $15/month. They offer a 7-day free trial, if you enter a form of payment.

If your goal is to avoid subscriptions, you could use the Echelon app and just use Youtube workouts. At a minimum, I'd suggest purchasing the qdomyos-zwift app which provides way better stats than the Echelon Fit app. The QZ app also provides the ability to upload training programs as zwo files. There is an active support page on Facebook.
