To all the people responding to Laid2rest: He/she is trolling. Walmart didn't award him/her a $50 gc to report a possible price error, and then also not fix the error. He/she likely didn't even contact Walmart at all. Ignore the troll.


Addendum: Not everyone who got this deal was abusing it. I did 1 order for 2 @ 2:37am EST/11:37pm PST. Thought doing more might increase odds of cancellation. Took almost 7hrs, but I was surprised to find I got them this morning.

If you got cancelled because of fraud prevention, you can try contacting customer service to see if they can issue you a discount code for a future order for the inconvenience. Be polite and kind. YMMV.

Update: the order actually filled. 20 mins after submitting order, got 2 codes.

Update 2: successfully redeemed 2 codes and added to account. Now I can finally go to bed.

Those are typically physical GCs. They mine them from store displays, remove and replace the scratch off material, replace the cards on the store rack, and run an automated program that constantly checks those numbers for activation and quickly deplete the balance. Some stores are dumber than others. Panera GC numbers were always around 7 digits apart so once you had one, you could easily guess the other numbers. They switched to the additional card PIN system to reduce that fraud.

Did 3 orders of 2 (2;19 am est).......first 2 came through (2;38/39), 3rd is pending. All orders after that were cancelled due to location....even with dif cc.
